Weimar T174, 1/72
Item number:
BM7274
In stock
The Weimar T-174 wheel loader was manufactured between 1965 and 1992 in the factories of the East German VEB Weimar-Werk.
The original of our model kit, the T-174/2 version, was released in 1972. It became an indispensable workhorse for the industry and
agriculture of the Eastern-bloc. There is almost no building materials store in Hungary where a battered Weimar would not be standing
next to a pile of gravel, waiting for an order to come in and load an IFA or MAN truck with material. The worn-out condition of these
loaders holds a lot of potential for modelers who like to use weathering, dirt, and rust. :-)
East Germany exported it in large quantities to, among others, Hungary, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Bulgaria,
and the Soviet Union also bought it. But it also reached some states in Africa and Asia.
What's in the box:
Highly detailed resin parts
Photo-etched brass parts
Illustrated assembly instructions
Recommended color: RAL 6025 fern green
Recommended age 13 over.
Unassembled resin kit with brass (photoetched parts) parts. Paint and glue are not included!
The attached drawings instructions help to assembly.
You can use sharp tools (Sniccer, jigsaw or electric mini drill with cutter disk, thick is max. 0,5-1mm.)
to take apart the parts from the resin blocks.
Please use careful, and note that this requires a little more experience,
such than to injection molded plastic kits!
