The T-130B was a specialized version of the legendary T-130 tracked bulldozer, developed at the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant in the late 1970s. Designed as the successor to the T-100M, it featured a more modern diesel engine, increased power and improved reliability.
The T-130B's most distinctive feature was its wide-track undercarriage, which significantly reduced ground pressure. This made the machine ideally suited for work on marshy, sandy, snowy and other soft terrains where conventional tracked vehicles were more likely to become bogged down.
The T-130B was widely used for road construction, mining, pipeline construction, logging and major industrial projects. Thanks to its simple design, high tractive effort and excellent off-road capability, it became one of the most widely used construction machines in the Soviet Union and many Eastern European countries. Even today, many examples remain operational, making the T-130B one of the most recognizable Soviet bulldozers.
